China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH) is an important state-owned backbone enterprise directly managed by the central government, originated from the First Ministry of Machinery Industry, and developed through the reorganization and integration of more than 70 research and design institutes, equipment manufacturing and engineering trade enterprises of the former Ministry of Machinery Industry.
SINOMACH has 120,000 employees, 11 listed companies, and more than 350 overseas organizations in more than 100 countries and regions around the world, with wide business coverage, strong R&D capability, and outstanding industrial chain advantages, and has been ranked the first among the top 100 enterprises in China's machinery industry for consecutive years.
SINOMACH focuses on the three main businesses of advanced equipment manufacturing, industrial infrastructure development and services, and engineering contracting and supply chain, plays the role of the main force in the construction of new industrialization, and endeavors to forge a guarantee force for the security of the advanced equipment industry chain, a strategic scientific and technological force in the machinery industry, and a support force for international capacity cooperation and supply chain integration.
History
The predecessor of the company is Changzhou Forestry Machinery Factory, which was established in 1961 and directly under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Forestry of the People's Republic of China. As a pioneer in China's forestry machinery industry, the company successfully developed the first forestry-specific wheel loader in China in 1963, which established the industry's technology benchmark position. In 1996, became a listed company.
In 2011, China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH) merged our company with key industry players—including Tianjin Construction Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd. (originally Tianjin Construction Machinery Factory, founded in 1905, China’s first manufacturer of self-developed motor graders with independent intellectual property rights), SINOMACH-HI (Luoyang) Building Machinery Co., Ltd (formerly Luoyang Construction Machinery Factory, established in 1904, producer of China’s inaugural road roller), and Sichuan Changjiang Crane Co., Ltd. (founded in 1965)—to restructure engineering machinery resources and establish SINOMACH Heavy Industry Group Corporation (SINOMACH-HI), a large-scale equipment manufacturing conglomerate.
In 2017，The overseas Department of the SINOMACH-HI and Changlin merge into SINOMACH-HI International Equipment Co., Ltd., indicate the integration of overseas markets.

Since 1986, we have led China’s construction machinery sector through groundbreaking collaborations, including the first technical partnership with Komatsu and the first joint ventures with Komatsu and Hyundai in 1996. Our 2004 Malaysia assembly plant further cemented our global footprint, setting benchmarks for cross-border manufacturing.
